On Monday, November 3, 2025, the Chairman of the National Assembly’s Committee on Petroleum, Rt Hon Alhassan Ado Doguwa, a flag-bearer of the Hausa nation, represented Nigeria at the World Petroleum Summit currently underway in the United Arab Emirates.
Nigeria is one of the world’s major oil-rich countries.
A statement by the spokesperson of Rt Hon Alhassan Ado Doguwa to newsmen, Auwal Ali Sufi, stated that Alhassan Ado Doguwa is the Chairman of the Committee on Combating Crude Oil Stealers.
He also last week joined forces with Hon Dasuki of the National Assembly to secure and improve security at the Dangote Refinery.
Hon Doguwa is representing Nigeria at the Summit on Petroleum as the Chairman of the Committee
