Global Peace Ambassador Visits International Peace Commission in Abuja

Abuja, Nigeria—The Global Peace Ambassador, Amb. Zubairu Dalhatu Malami, paid a courtesy visit to the Head of Mission of the International Peace Commission (IPC), Dr. Hussaini I. Commassie, at the Commission’s headquarters in Abuja.

During the Visit both leaders discussed key agendas centered on collaborative work, peacebuilding, and education in Nigeria and beyond. The dialogue highlighted the importance of strengthening partnerships between peace-focused institutions and community stakeholders to foster unity, resilience, and sustainable development.

Ambassador Malami emphasized the role of inclusive education and grassroots engagement in addressing violence-related challenges across Northern Nigeria, while Dr. Commassie reaffirmed the IPC’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote peace and humanitarian development.
