Gov. Yusuf Congratulates Ooni of Ife on 52nd Birthday
Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has congratulated the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, on the occasion of his 52nd birthday.
Governor Yusuf described the revered monarch as a distinguished traditional ruler whose commitment to cultural preservation, peacebuilding, and national unity continues to inspire Nigerians across ethnic and religious divides.
The Governor acknowledged the Ooni’s significant contributions to promoting Yoruba cultural heritage, strengthening traditional institutions, and fostering peaceful coexistence among Nigerians.
He noted that traditional rulers remain vital partners in promoting peace, unity, and sustainable development, particularly at a time when collective efforts are needed to address the country’s challenges.
Governor Yusuf prayed for Allah’s continued guidance, good health, and long life for the monarch, wishing him many more years of impactful service to his people, the traditional institution, and the nation at large.
He also expressed confidence that the Ooni would continue to use his revered position to promote harmony, mutual understanding, and national progress.
