The Civil Society Scaling Up Nutrition in Nigeria (CS-SUNN) has received with deep sorrow the news of the death of Habiba Dauda Alabura, a staff member of Niger State Television (NSTV) and a dedicated member of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Niger State Chapter.
Journalists like Habiba play a vital role in informing the public, amplifying community voices and keeping important issues, including nutrition, health and the wellbeing of women and children, on the public agenda. Her commitment to the profession and her service to the people of Niger State will not be forgotten.
CS-SUNN extends its heartfelt condolences to her family, to the leadership and members of NAWOJ Niger State Chapter, to the management and staff of NSTV and to all her friends, colleagues and associates in the media community.
