Muslim Outreach Group Provides Medical Aid, Empowerment Support in Rogo
A Muslim organization made up of professionals from various fields has carried out an outreach programme in a community within Rogo Local Government Area, offering free medical services and economic support to women.

The group, led by its chairman, Alhaji Adamu Saleh Kwaru, organized the initiative in collaboration with the Medical Association of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital and IMAN.
As part of the activities, the team distributed medications to residents and provided financial support to empower independent women, enabling them to become self-reliant.
The outreach also featured religious preaching sessions targeted at non-Muslims in the area, encouraging them to embrace Islam. Independent women were also advised to return to their families or husbands for better care and guidance, as well as to avoid actions considered contrary to Islamic teachings.
Speaking during the event, the chairman, Alhaji Saleh Adamu Kwaru, said residents of Rogo Local Government Area benefitted significantly from the free medical services, including consultations and take-home medications.
Also speaking, the group’s legal adviser on Sharia matters, Barrister Yahaya Ibrahim Aliyu, called on wealthy individuals to support the organization in its efforts to promote Islam and provide free healthcare services to the needy.
Over 700 people reportedly benefitted from the programme, which included medical consultations, distribution of drugs, and religious sensitization targeting traditional worshippers and Christians to urged them to convert into Islamic religion.
The secretary of the group, Dr. Imam Malam Rabiu, who represented the IMAN chairman from Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Dr. Gaya, disclosed that many beneficiaries underwent medical tests. While some were treated on the spot, others with more serious conditions would be referred to the city for further treatment and possible surgery.
The organizers expressed gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the initiative and prayed for divine reward for their efforts.
